Region	Observations
Neck	Ligature mark present — circumferential, horizontal pattern, consistent with a braided cord or rope of approximately 8–10mm diameter. Petechial haemorrhages bilateral conjunctivae. No bruising suggesting a struggle prior to ligature application.
Upper limbs	No defensive injuries. No perimortem bruising to hands, forearms, or knuckles.
Lower limbs	No perimortem injuries.
Clothing	T-shirt (crew merchandise, "Zara Ruk"), jeans. Whisky glass in right hand — grip was likely passive at time of death (not active grip).
Face	Cyanosis present. Facial musculature suggests subject was sedated and non-responsive prior to ligature application.

System	Findings
Cardiovascular	No pre-existing cardiac pathology. Petechiae consistent with asphyxia.
Respiratory	Pulmonary oedema present — consistent with asphyxiation.
Gastrointestinal	Stomach contents: approximately 90 mL liquid (amber coloured, consistent with whisky). No solid food. Gastric mucosa shows no ulceration.
CNS	No structural injury. Brain shows generalised hypoxic change consistent with cause of death.
Toxicological samples	Blood (femoral and cardiac), vitreous, urine, gastric wash — submitted to AIIMS Toxicology Lab.

Based on core body temperature at scene (rectal — 34.2°C at 21:10), rigor mortis onset, and ambient temperature (28°C at scene): estimated time of death 20:10 – 20:40 on 14 February 2025. Margin of error ±15 minutes.

Asphyxia due to ligature strangulation. Subject was incapacitated prior to manual application of the ligature — absence of defensive injuries and distribution of petechiae are consistent with this sequence. Toxicological analysis pending (expedited — results within 12 hours).
