Housekeeping Record — 21 March 2025
| Time | Staff | Event | Suite Status Post-Event |
| 08:30 AM | Housekeeping (Maya Lal) | Morning turndown — full clean | Confirmed clean. All surfaces wiped. |
| 08:00 PM | Housekeeping (Maya Lal) | Evening turndown — bed preparation | Confirmed clean. Room sealed post-service. |
| 10:15 PM | Room Service (Gopal Meena) | Delivered: 1× bottle 2024 Bordeaux (Château Margaux), 2× wine glasses, fruit platter — placed on side table per prior guest request | Gopal Meena confirms glasses were clean/unused at delivery. Bottle sealed. Suite otherwise empty at time of delivery. |
SECURITY NOTE: The wine delivery at 22:15 was the last confirmed entry by hotel staff before the body was discovered at 00:07 AM. The 2024 Bordeaux bottle was found sealed and untouched. Only the left-hand glass contained liquid (approx. 180 mL poured). The right-hand glass was unused. This is consistent with a single individual pouring and consuming one glass. Given that the bottle was sealed and glasses unused at the time of room service delivery (22:17), and Harish Singhania did not enter the suite until 23:27, the glass must have been poured — and the thallium introduced — during an entry that occurred between 22:17 and 23:27. The key card log (E10, Pack B) identifies this entry.
Key Card Access Log — Suite 214 (21 March, 10 PM onwards)
| Time | Card ID | Event | Note |
| 22:15 PM | KC-STAFF | ENTRY — Gopal Meena (room service) | Confirmed by room service log |
| 22:17 PM | KC-STAFF | EXIT — Gopal Meena | 2-minute visit — delivery only |
| 23:27 PM | KC-214-A | ENTRY — Harish Singhania | Single entry. Last logged entry by Harish. |
| 00:07 AM | KC-STAFF | ENTRY — Gopal Meena | Body discovery. Emergency call placed at 00:09 AM. |
⚠ Note: The key card system (primary logging partition) logs entries only — no dedicated exit readers are installed in presidential suites. Note: A secondary logging partition installed during the October 2024 system upgrade captures both entry and exit events via door-close sensors. This partition was not included in the initial extract script — see E10 (Pack B) for the recovered secondary log, which includes exit timestamps. The above log is complete for entries; exit times are not captured.
Security Manager Observation
The electronic lock on Suite 214 was functioning normally throughout. No evidence of tampering or override. All five valid card holders had the technical means to enter the suite during any period the room was unoccupied. The hotel's CCTV corridor coverage for Floor 2 is partial — cameras cover the main elevator lobby but not the full length of the east corridor (where Suite 214 is located). Full CCTV log separately submitted.
