The DCGI approval celebration is still going on when Dr. Anil Reddy, 47, lead researcher and co-founder, is found dead in Lab Block C at 10:47 PM. He is slumped across a liquid nitrogen workstation that has been rigged to deliver a fatal electrical charge. It looks like an accident. It is not.
For six weeks, Anil had been raising internal alarms about the integrity of the NX-7 Phase III trial data — concerns that were ignored, dismissed, and answered with silence. He was drafting a formal complaint to DCGI. He was three hours from sending it.
