Corridor Description and Access

The service corridor BNL-SERV/B2C is a utility passage (length: approximately 34 metres) running below ground between Lab Block B and Lab Block C. The corridor is used for moving large equipment and cryogenic tanks between blocks without travelling through the main lobby. Push-bar handles at both ends allow exit from inside without a badge; entry from the Block B side and Block C side both require only a physical push of the bar — no electronic access control.

The corridor floor is smooth epoxy, light grey. Overhead strip lighting. A single wall-mounted fire extinguisher is present at the midpoint. There are no cameras.

The nitrile glove fibers recovered from the service corridor (SERV/TM-01) match in material composition, colour, and filament diameter to the fibers recovered from workstation LN-07 in Lab Block C (E01/TM-01). HFSL cannot confirm they are from the same glove — only that they are from the same type of glove. They are consistent with being deposited by an individual wearing BioNexus Labs Size M nitrile lab gloves who passed through the corridor and subsequently accessed or approached workstation LN-07.

The physical evidence in the service corridor, combined with the badge log gap, the parking CCTV timeline, and the CDR signal gap for Kavitha Nair's handset, is consistent with the following sequence: Kavitha Nair exited Lab Block B at 21:12 via the electronic access point, traversed the unmonitored service corridor BNL-SERV/B2C, entered Lab Block C, rigged workstation LN-07 during the window prior to Dr. Reddy's arrival at 21:44, waited, and departed the campus at 22:35 after the act was complete. Her phone was inactive or suppressed throughout this window — the first outbound call from her number after 21:03 is at 23:04, over two hours later.
